I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis after I had to have a major op to removed my spleen as it has it had a tumour on it, when they preformed the op they realised during it that the tumour had spread to my pancreas so they also make the decision to removed the tail end of my pancreas too! My surgeon diagnosed me with CP after I had revived after routine scans after my op I've had an injection into my tummy for pain relief but it only lasted 2 weeks and I was back to pain sad I am now on the waitin list for another injection which is called celiac something. My gp has more or less made out that I'm lying so I copied him my letters from the surgeon and pain management clinic. I'm off work since my op and and unable to work due to having spleen removed I'm constantly sick and CP doesn't help matters as the pain takes over my life. My gp has signed me of work but put that I had "depression" I'm furious and I think it's not helping my CP either!
