Chronic Blepharitis & Dry Eye

   Hi everyone

   Gosh i felt like the only on with this problem until i found this site.

   my problem started with very bad dry eyes for almost 2 years, and for the best part of this year ive had blepharitis, very sore red eyelid that also flake. so between this and the dry eyes my peepers feel like hell!!.

   Ive tried the bicarbonate soda remedy - with no luck (&it was a pain to do)

   Im currently trying the baby shampoo&warm water remedy but im having to stop that for the moment as its made my eyelids redder and more sore.

   Im going to try simple warm water on a flannel and im thinking of trying the Ophthalmologists eye bag that was advertised on here....

   ....Has anyone tried the eye bag!???

   after trying many things i seem to have found a solution, for now it seems.

   the baby shampoo made matters worse. i then read an Ophthalmolgists website which suggested using a warm compressess, eye mask or hot/warm flannel on your eyes for a few mins each day. along with doing this i have put a dab of olive oil on my dry sore eyelids and 3 days later they are no longer red, no longer swollen,the flaking has died right back to a bare minimum(if that),they feel so much better. even my dry eyes arent so dry.
