Can I just say by reading your article you have really put my mind at rest. I developed a sebaceous cyst about 17 years ago on the left side of my neck. It has stayed pea size and didn't really bother me until last week, I woke up one morning last week to find it had doubled in size (quite riciulous looking)was bruised looking and hurt.

I went to my GP who has given me 10 days antibiotics and referred me to the hospital yo have it removed once it has settled down. She didn't instill me with confidence as I was very worried about this change all of a sudden. Also never really explained what it was and to be quite honest I was too scared to ask.

Just a few facts from your page has put my mind at rest that I havn't developed a neck cancer!!! Although I wish the swelling would go down a little quicker. I have been on my tablets since Monday.
