:? I have been taking 200mg 3 times a day for 4 days and have decided to stop today!!! I was prescribed Metronidazole for an infected wisdom tooth as well as tonsillitis. For the first 2 days i had a very dry mouth and strange taste, feeling slightly tired and washed out. Yesterday (3rd day) I have never felt so completely exhausted in my life. Very confused and light headed, feeling very down too. Have felt like this all day today too (4th day).

After reading everyone's experiences on here I would like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' !!! I am so glad that I am not the only one experiencing all these things, was getting v worried.

I have decided to stop taking the tablets because whilst they have done a good job in reducing the infection in my tooth, I don't want to feel like this even for 1 more day.

I will NEVER take these again, I will definately ask for an alternative in future.
