acidity from some drinks

  1. I had my gall-bladder out a couple of years ago and wonder if this is detrimental to acid build up when had a drink?I am a 64 year old lady.I drink in moderation, perhaps 2 glasses of wine a week, whith a meal, but occasionally get acid.I have Rose as white and Red are a no-no! What can I drink when entertaining/dining without building up acid?

  2. I had my gall bladder out about 12 years ago (when I was 32), and have found since then that even a small glass of wine gives me acid indigestion. Have you tried the sweet white wines? Or tried diluting them with soda water? That can help a bit.

  3. Sweet wines are not as bad but still give a little heart-burn.I had been told about diluting with Sparkling Mineral water and it does seem to work.I was told also NOT to drink with the meal but sip afterwards.Still cant take Reds as they make me feel a little nauseous as well as acid, but a light Rose seems OK when diluted.Thanks.
