Abnormal liver function test

   Hi there

   I have been on sertraline for 11 months started off tough but things have got much better.

   I have just had a blood test done. Just to have my cholesterol checked and they came back with abnormalities in my liver and now going for a ultra scan.

   I currently had a bad case of flu, which they gave me Tamiflu plus advised me on taking paracetamol.

   I know in the advice leaftel that comes with the medication you can get abnormalities in a liver function test.

   Has anybody else experienced this.

   All I can say about the other experiences I have had. Is just keep at it dont let it stop you living your life.

   I've just seen your message. How are you now? I have heard that we should have liver function tests when on an SSRI, but I know of no-one who has been offered one (apart from a friend in the States, where things are done differently!). I do hope all is well with you.
