Who would ever CONSIDER that an apparent \"Virus\" (cold/flu-like symptoms) would actually have been CAUSED by Paracetamol? ...

After many years of believing simply that after a visit to the GP or Dental Surgeries, I have \"picked-up\" a \"virus\", I have just realised (as a result of Notes that I have made and kept) that there is a pattern here! And that this is in fact NO COINCIDENCE at all: Clearly I am Intollerant/Allergic to Paracetamol and probably many other Drugs/Anaesthetics (NSAIDS (eg Diclofenac especially); Co-codamol...).

I recently thought I was going to die after taking 30/500 Co-codamol (rolling around on floor feeling as if unconsciousness coming-on). My \"Painkillers\" were gradually reduced to mere Paracetamol, but I still continued to be very ill. And the irony is that I'd eventually - very reluctantly - been persuaded, by a Physiotherapist, to take any drugs at all, not because I actually HAD any pain, but \"to enable me to USE my injured arm more than I was able\"!

I have tried to discover whether virus-like symptoms might be a common reaction to Paracetamol. But I feel that: given that no-one is likely to even CONSIDER that such symptoms MIGHT be a reaction to mere Paracetamol - with its taken-for-granted UNIVERSAL benefits! - it is quite unlikely that this Intollerance is going to be RECOGNISED, let alone ACCEPTED ... After all: What on earth would the Medical Profession do without it! And the Drug Co's CERTAINLY wouldn't like it!
