Audio Recordings

We have made audio recordings of a real person reading the following leaflets. They can be listened to online or downloaded/received as podcasts for listening to at your convenience. Simply follow the links below to view the leaflet and to access its audio options, including the help facility. We aim to increase the number of recordings substantially in the near future.

Additionally we provide a PDF version of all of our leaflets and Adobe Reader (version 6.0 and above) provides a 'Read Aloud' option. To use this option you need to:

1. Open the PDF by clicking on the icon provided at the top of the leaflet on Patient UK
2. Click the 'Save' icon above the open PDF document
3. Save as a PDF file to a folder of your choice on your local machine
4. Open it on your local machine in Adobe Reader
5. Click 'View' on the Adobe toolbar
6. Click 'Read out loud' (be aware, the reading is a rather monotone, computerised voice)
