Health map of England revealed
A new health map of England, revealing “shocking” local variations in early death rates, has been released by Public Health England (PHE) to help drive public awareness and to boost council and NHS action to tackle public health problems.
The map features on Longer Lives, a new PHE website, and shows a general ‘north-south’ health gap, with the population of the north of England overall having a higher risk of early death than those in the south.Read more about the health map
